Anele Mbanga > About Me

My Name is Anele Mbanga, born 15 April 1973. From an early age I wanted to become a Chartered Accountant (SA), thus studied Accounting and Business Economics. After graduating from University, I worked for an Accounting firm and it was during this time that I got introduced into Computer Programming by Michael Oosterhagen.

Michael was working for CJS (Christiaan Joubert Systems), a company that was based in Pretoria at the time and consulting for the Accounting Firm and was working on their BCS (Budget Control System). My Visual Basic experience started with a big programming book that he gave me which was more than 500 pages and I had to re-write the BCS source code, an MS DOS like system into a windows application.

Throughout the years most of my programming experience has been through my own studying and experimenting with the Web, Mobile, Android, Windows, Linux, iOs etc.

One is considered an expert on a field once they have spent more than 10,000 hours in it. This website will delve on what I have experience in and what I have done so far. As they say, the rest is history.

I'm a father of three kids, one boy and two girls, Usibabale (10), Olothando (4) and Esona (3).
